If you're a high achiever feeling overwhelmed at work and disconnected from your inner compass, you're not alone. In this post, I share real-life coaching transformations that moved clients from burnout to balance through self-trust, quiet power, and presence. Because you're not broken. You're just ready to lead from within.

If you're a high achiever feeling overwhelmed at work and disconnected from your inner compass, you're not alone. In this post, I share real-life coaching transformations that moved clients from burnout to balance through self-trust, quiet power, and presence. Because you're not broken. You're just ready to lead from within.

You've come to coaching because you want something to be different with you money/career, health or relationships - or a combination.

But the niggle of frustration or the overwhelm doubt is not a signifier that there's anything wrong. It's telling you that you are ready for the change.

My work largely stems around people's work life, however very often their relationship improves or they meet a new partner while doing this work. It's the ripple effect. I mean when you are happier in work you are a happier partner, parent, friend - it makes sense.

There isn't a level of leadership or sector of work that is immune to doubt, imposter syndrome or the risk of burnout.

A lot of people I coach are capable, caring and hard working - they just have too much on their plate and feel trapped by it.

They come from all walks of life, but what they have in common is this:

They’ve done all the “right” things.

They’ve held it together.

They’ve performed, delivered, coped.

But somewhere along the way, they lost touch with what feels good and what feels like them.

Here are a few stories of how coaching has helped them change their relationship to work and their place in it.

You might enjoy reading about them. Maybe you'll recognise yourself in some of their stories.

K.T. is a creative with a long-shelved side project they’d quietly chipped away at for years. Every time they got close to sharing it, doubt kicked in: What if people don’t get it? Then they'd find something else 'more important' that needed their time. We worked on a new mindset and consistent, small actions. And now? With shaky hands and heart pounding, they’ve shared their work in public. Was it terrifying? Yes. But it was also electric, joyful and deeply rewarding. Now, they’re chasing momentum instead of perfection.

L.P. is a performer who landed big roles, but every job created a battle behind the scenes: the pressure to do well and coping mechanisms to numb the anxiety.
They used to dread watching themselves back as they'd critique every line. We worked on their state of mind and being intentional in how they show up to auditions, performances and screenings. Now? They still feel the pressure but they know how to reframe it and reconnect to why they started in the first place. The pressure has been replaced with presence and a return to the fun and enjoyment that is inherent in the process.

G.J. is a capable do-er in a high-pressure sector who needed to step up from just delivering to presenting and leading meetings. They know their stuff but didn’t want the politics and pressure that comes with the “higher” roles. We worked on authenticity and remaining true to themselves in new situations. Some old stories came up about who they have believed they are allowed to be, and we worked on releasing and rewriting them. Now, they show up as themselves in each space, speak with calm clarity, their real voice coming through. Their confidence is grounded and calm no matter how loud others feel the need to be.

T.J. is a creative professional who lived with much of the time in a low mood or feeling highly irritable, coerced into roles they didn’t want and feeling guilty about feeling that way and guilty for wanting more. Now, they’re in a new relationship, planning trips they once put off, and - best of all - taking care of themselves daily, without apology.

A.H. A business owner carrying the weight of a company and the fog of grief. They fantasised about running away to escape the pressure.
They didn’t need a plan. They needed permission.
Now, they’re slowly delegating, softening their grip, and starting to believe they don’t have to earn peace through pain.

R.S. is a working parent caring for both a toddler and an ageing parent, stuck in a cycle of doing, fixing and giving. They couldn’t see a way out until they made space, small at first, then bigger. Now, their days have rhythm. Their needs matter. And their family is thriving because they are, not in spite of it.

I’m a coach for people whose work isn't working but who don’t want to burn it all down. My coaching helps them reconnect, realign and refocus - in work, and beyond.

What makes it different is the personalised daily audio work that reprogrammed your mindset one small thought at a time. It makes taking the new action possible and even easy.
