When Change Feels Impossible, Start Here

Some days, it feels like you're stuck in an endless loop - pushing through exhaustion, juggling all the things and wondering when it will ever change.

Work is overwhelming - again. You tell yourself it’s just a phase, that once this project, pitch, or presentation is over, things will calm down. But soon enough, the cycle repeats. Why?

Or maybe it’s your health. You go through a great phase - eating well, drinking water, moving regularly. You feel strong and energised. And then, without even realising it, you’re back in old habits, frustrated that you couldn’t ‘stick with it.’

And that creeping doubt starts whispering: Change is impossible. It will always be like this.

Is That The Full Story?

Let’s zoom out. Has the world always been this way? No. Work cultures have changed, health breakthroughs have happened, people have transformed their lives in ways that once seemed impossible. Change is happening all the time.

And that means it can happen for you, too.

The truth is, you are allowed to want more. You are allowed to create a life that feels good. You don’t need to ‘suck it up’ or ‘be stronger’ - you need a new way forward.

The First Step: Opening to Possibility

Here’s where we begin: Start with the belief that change is possible. In your job, your relationships, your finances, your health, your environment—change is possible.

The question is: Are you open to seeing it?

Because when you are, things start shifting in ways you never expected.

If today feels like Groundhog Day, try this as a morning mantra—because even the smallest shift in perspective can open the door to real change:

  • I am open to seeing the ways in which today can go differently.

Repeat it as you brush your teeth. Say it in your head as you walk out the door. Whisper it before your first meeting or email. And then—start noticing. Look for the moments where today is different.

“Yes, but…”

Maybe you agree in principle, but you have a short (but strong) list of reasons why this doesn’t apply to you. Sometimes familiar patterns feel safe, even when they’re frustrating—because change, even positive change, can feel uncertain or lonely.

But ask yourself: Is it honestly true that my work or finances HAVE to be this way? Is it true that ALL jobs or relationships look like this?

Is it honestly true?

What if things could be easier than you’ve believed?

Once you realise change is possible, then you get to have fun deciding how it will happen. And if you're ready to shift something but aren't sure where to start, let me know. I love hearing what people want to work on and I'd be happy to explore it with you.
